Pillar three
Builders of Community
We grow together and stand as one unit — a school family that belongs to every student.
Family culture
No one climbs alone
Community is where resilience becomes sustainable. Mentors, houses, peers, and shared standards teach students that excellence is a team sport — and that care is a form of strength.
- House identity with pride, not exclusion
- Shared rituals that build trust and belonging
- Conflict resolved with dignity and accountability
- Parents welcomed as partners in the journey
The Four Houses
Identity that elevates
Boarding house culture gives every student a home base — colors, virtues, and teammates who notice when you show up.
Vanguard
Courage & initiative — first to step forward with purpose.
Sentinel
Vigilance & duty — protect standards and look out for others.
Aegis
Protection & growth — shield the vulnerable and grow stronger.
Bastion
Strength & resolve — steady under pressure, loyal to the unit.
Beyond the house
Land, gardens & longer horizons
Community garden lots and public temple/zen space sit alongside Moehnke Trust residential lots — purchase land from the company in our real development, with clear packages and a contractor bid path for builders.
Agriculture & aquaponics campus
Twelve identical heated houses (max 12 m × 36 m): 6 agriculture + 6 aquaculture. Each has ~80% BIPV roof and a south long wall for power. Waste heat from chillers and current generators heats other zones. Agri pairing: citrus · subtropical fruit · stone fruit · vertical vines · nightshades/peppers · berry shrubs. Aqua isolation: cold crabs · lobster · Botan ebi · cold salmonids · temperate fish · eel/urchin/scallop. Live Temp, RH, CO₂, O₂, nutrients/chemistry, and growth status: Portals → Greenhouse / Aquaculture.
Moehnke Trust lots & homes
Property Trust lists available parcels (0.1–5 acres) with three options: vacant land, tiny home (1 or 2 storey), or consign a custom home. Contractors apply and bid on Trust build contracts in Portals → Trust. See Legal & Public Policies for disclosures.
